What exactly is a road diet? A road diet, also called a lane reduction or road rechannelization, is a technique in transportation planning whereby the number of travel lanes and/or effective width of the road is reduced in order to achieve systemic improvements. Check out these great resources to learn more:

Bike Month May 2018

5/31/2018

Thank you to everyone who contributed to making May a great Bike Month. We started strong at the Lodi City Council Meeting announcing our three Bike Friendly Business Award recipients (Flight Lounge Woodbridge, Kirsten Company and LangeTwins Family Winery and Vineyard) and accepting the Mayor's proclamation. We kicked off the bike valet season at the Downtown Street Faire, Farmers Market, and Zinfest. We then finished on a high note with close to 50 people attending our Bike to Work Day. Huge "thank you's" to Mary Pell, Anita Herman, Kandy Vaccarezza, Julia Tyack from Lodi Public Works and Kari McNickle from Dibs/SJBC. Your hard work paid off and the morning was a success.
